Completely agree. Also, there should be an option that brings down the channel topic rather than always showing it. Like "Tap to see Channel Topic". In most servers I'm in, I like to scroll through the members list to see who I'm working with in a server (idk why and don't ask), yet the new icons at the top and the channel topic take up half of the screen on their own.

You also can't send files anymore (at least in a way that i could easily figure out) less options is not better.

Why change things up in the middle of a world crisis when people just want to stay in touch and have a sense of normalcy? No one likes the changes. This is a step back in usability and an embarrassment to Discord.

For me after updating the app(like less than 30mins from me posting this) I noticed it became a bit sluggish, typing seems delayed a bit, changing from 1 channel to another or server seems sluggish as well

I agree. I dislike the new UI, such as needing to click an added arrow to access pictures, where it drops my keyboard meaning now if I want to send an image to a chat, I have to press an added few buttons which is rather inconvenient.

An option to switch back to the version before the update would be absolutely wonderful, I think.
Or better yet, the update to just be reverted.3 -

For some odd reason I can no longer gift nitro to people via mobile app. First you take away one of the most useful shortcuts which is double tapping the back button to pull up the recents tab then you're getting rid of all of these cool features and changing it when you shouldn't be, and now you can't even gift people discord nitro if you're on mobile! What are you doing discord come on!

For me after refreshing the app I marked it shifted a bit sluggish, writing appears delayed a bit, changing from 1 channel to different or server appears sluggish as well Customer Satisfaction Survey

I See some potential in the new update if it was to make it more fair to the pc version, just I HATE change and that's a very strong word to use. I liked discord how it was, I liked scrolling through a massive list to find photos. I don't like how squished the channels are now and how small it is. I've also noticed that the settings changed I can't find my way around now. 'Cause it's all changed, which I don't like much. Like everyone else is saying yeah definitely give a option to choose what version to be on, I'm going to compare this to minecraft real quick, to revert version's kind of like Minecrafts snapshots just that option to just change what you play on would be LOVELY. Like the update on my android doesn't work for me and makes me want to be on my pc more. But because of the words being squished and small it made channels unreadable for me. Just dots. I must mention to with status's, the emoji's at the start are cut as well due to it all being squashed. If there is a change I do recommend that change. I Also Hate how you removed the highlight to @ ing someone on discord 'cause it's hard to tell if it's gonna do it or not AND DON'T GET ME START EMBEDS, please bring those back I want to know, if I can trust that link with a picture. To fall down to see, and it get's me riled up when people say they have embeds and I don't it's just, annoying, I've been more hesitant with links now due to it.
Update: sorry for the long message, I had a lot to conplain about.
