Informational Channel Type
We have text channels, voice channels, and announcement channel types, but one thing that is preventing Discord from ever being a Forum replacement is the ability for a permissions-based system for fellow admins to be able to collaboratively edit certain posts. Like for #welcome #info #rules, or other similar channels.
What would be a very nice feature for Discord would be an channel type (please don't lock it behind Partner only, that would be very dumb for communities that are dedicated but don't meet Partner requirements) that you could set where fellow Admins could tweak the #rules channels, #info channels, etc, so that way if the server owner is unavailable for a time, things could still be kept clean and updated.
These types of channels would not have a user attached to the messages. This way, it would be a lot less likely to annoy people. If you never add editing normal posts, at the very least consider adding this, so communities that want a forum-like feel won't have to rely on an actual forum software like Xenforo, vBulletin, etc, when Discord would more than meet their needs. Being able to collaboratively edit important informational channels for community rules and such could be such a huge improvement to the Quality of Life on Discord.
I know of many communities I'm in that would love to make use of this feature, so less reliance on one specific person is needed.
