In the iPhone SE version, the profile editing window looks awful. I can't see the Save/Back buttons at the top. Everything is mixed with the window name. The password field with the keyboard open is also not visible.( this is required to confirm changes). In General, the layout is not adapted for small screens

I can't stand it either. It was changed to the current view on iOS first and now Android. I never used Discord on iOS because I couldn't stand it and now it's on android. I can't avoid it now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one upset about not being able to see channels any longer without manually dragging out the sidebar.

Why not add these as options to create a customizable UI? View or collapse this section, resize that section, have it look and function the way each user wants. People like options. Forced changes will always anger some people, especially if they have a method that already works exactly how they want. A way to minimize the unhappiness is to leave as much control as possible in the hands of the user - they're the ones using your interface, after all. Make it work for them!

@BakeMiaPie I love your customize UI idea. If Discord could have two or three layouts as presets, that would go a long way toward appeasing the community.

However, it would make the download file a little bigger, and might burden weaker processors. Here's to!

@Shadow_8472 better yet, Two separate apps would be much better If they're so hell bent on oversimplifying the ui so embryos can use it.
Bonus points if you get to choose whether to download Discord, or Datcord.

I agree wholeheartedly. In fact, I've started the hashtag #NotMyPlaceToTalk. Please spread awareness of this initiative—to make Discord’s mobile app usable, fast, and accessible again. https://mobile.twitter.com/ItsSpelledHALEY/status/1278307838754844673
