The new mobile UI is unusable

Hello,

The newest update made the app unusable to the point where I just rolled it back.

Previous updates added the useless buttons on the bottom, but since those were static elements I didn't bother, but now they are moving as I;m typing which I find EXTREMELY distracting.

The panels are just... whoever pushed this change is out of touch with reality and should be fired on the spot, because I bet this is not the first and not the last time this person came up with such a genius idea.

Take a look at this screenshot:

You can see that different sections are clearly separated, the fact of dragging this panel out moves only the panel and presents most used functions, not the entire UI which is just sensory overload. It even covers less space than the new one!

Meanwhile the new panel upon dragging out moves the entire UI and moves out additional panel from the bottom screen... which presents the the server/friend/channel search function under the same icon as the text search in the server... and invites, for the lack of better idea what to do with all of this wasted space and forced change for the sake of change.

I could write another portion of text about the right panel, but I think that saying that the old one was better is just enough at this point.

Please stop making changes for the sake of making them. Some elements of the UI are good enough and should be considered as feature complete. There is no need to update those elements as long as there is no functionality added to them.

Forgot to mention in the "sensory overload" section.
Whenever I start typing in the new UI or I look at the list of servers/channels I get the feeling of some car sickness or spinning in my head. It's hard to describe. The same effect can be achieved by changing FOV to a "wrong" value in some games.

Pls make the discord app the way it was because this (and many other) new update added so many annoying and useless features

I went back to 15.6 like many others. 16 and 17 is where the trash started for a lot of us, and it just kept degrading past that.

I just installed discord on my phone and holy hell, its even more unusable than the desktop app. At least on PC I can find the settings and logout buttons.
