Bots and user list

2 years since last thread like this was made, but i'm making it now because it's getting really bad. No matter what we do bots join, DM people cause they have access to server list, and leave. It's useless to ban cause they will make more accounts, useless to put moderation level to red cause they somehow got phone numbers to verify, anything we do is useless.

So, best way to deal with them is to restrict access to user list from certain roles, so we can make a role people get when they join with which they can't see certain channels and can't see viewer list. No one gets DM's, and bots by nature leave cause they think they avoid a ban

  I am totally out of options as well. 100's of bans don't make them stop.
