There is always the web client (which renders perfectly and has spellcheck). Maybe Discord should make a proper PWA instead of this electron based app?

Certain Characters in Username (Linux App)
Certain characters in some usernames aren't rendering properly r͙ is one of the culprits. Displays fine in Firefox, but native app renders.... Native app in Windows renders fine too.
