Believe it or not, we plan to keep the fun going with a new sound pack in celebration of April Fools.
What this article covers:
What's happening for April Fools?
From April 1 to April 10, 2023 (4PM PST), you'll be able to enable the discord but slightly off sound pack for your notification sounds on your desktop/browser app.
If you would like to use this sound pack, you will need to set your desktop/browser app to English-US or English-UK in Language within User Settings.
How do I enable a Sound Pack?
Enabling a Sound Pack and customizing notification sounds are not available on the Discord mobile apps!
Kick off all the shenanigans by following these steps below:
1. Head into your User Settings by pressing the cog wheel [] in the bottom left corner of the app
2. Then, select the Notifications tab
3. Once redirected to the Notifications page, scroll down until you see the Sound Pack menu
4. Last but not least, select your sound pack of choice in the drop-down menu!
How do I customize which notification sounds I'd like to hear?
To enable specific notification sounds, you press on the slider button right beside each individual notification option within the same Notifications page.
That way you can customize the amount of chaos you'd like to hear!
How do I test out different sounds?
If you'd like to test the different sounds, you can directly select the volume icon that will appear when you hover over a specific sound option.
How do I disable the Sound Pack?
To go back to the standard notification sounds, just head back into the Sound Pack menu, and then select classic from the drop down menu!
