Message requests only cause problems

Message requests don't solve anything as you still have to look at the message request to know if you want to talk to the person, so you're still seeing the messages. All this feature does is cause people to accidentally ghost people, as I've done many times because message requests don't give any notification like a normal dm. There should either be a way to turn them off globally (instead of the current server by server basis) or simply remove them as they're redundant and are just causing issues.
