Forums Channels: Permissions at the thread level

I would like to see permissions to view / reply at the individual thread level. This would be useful for communities that take advantage of the forums channels for moderator applications or user reports where the information should remain private between OP & the staff team. I’d like to use forums for moderator applications but making these public might lead to cheating / copying of another’s application.
