Please Give Us a Way to Turn Off Reply Pings

Before Discord implemented replies, I got pinged really only when someone immediately needed my attention. Now, I get pinged all the time with people writing up three word replies that really don't need my attention for a while. I like having my pings down to 0, and I like talking, but people often reply ping me, and I wish I could turn it off. I do *not* want to be reply pinged unless strictly necessary, and I'm getting tired of telling every single person I talk with to not reply ping me because some are really insistent that they *must* reply ping me. It's extremely annoying and I wish there was a way to turn off reply pings so I don't get pinged from any replies. That way, the people who like reply pings could be happy, people who don't like them could be happy, and I wouldn't have to explain to turn the ping off with every person I interact with.

    The only thing you can do is request they click the @ ON next to the reply, or you could deactivate the sound if that's what bothers you.

    I do, but some people don't get it and some people are really adamant that it's a chore when it's one tap, it takes less than a second, and it takes 0 effort. I just wish there was a way to skip all the hassle, all the explaining and stuff.
