Memorializing Accounts

Hi, my sister passed away last year, and many of us still message her account as a way to cope and grieve. Discord and various servers were so important to her in life, and it would be heartbreaking to have her account deleted due to the new rules regarding accounts.

Some way to put a special memorial banner on her profile or next to her name would be so helpful for those who we haven't been able to get a hold of too.

Please help upvote this.

    I second this suggestion. Discord is a young app, but still, a lot of us have had to go through a passing of a family member, a friend, or a close friend of another server member in smaller discord servers that share a long history with those people. Memorializing has been a thing on Facebook for years and on other social media platforms for this exact reason. While it may just mostly be a gaming hub, Discord would be doing nothing wrong by jumping on the bandwagon and also implementing such a feature, especially compared to the alternative.
