Why is there a racist new whiteface emoji? It's called :dotted_line_face: for some reason.

  It's not racist, the Dotted Line Face was approved as part of Unicode 14.0 in 2021 and added to Emoji 14.0 in 2021. 
  The explanation to the emoji is the following: "An established comic book trope, dotted lines around a character can represent someone that is invisible or hidden. It can also represent smallness, submissiveness, isolation, and depression."
