Favorite Channel Feature, possible option to keep active chats pinned

I want to see if Discord would incorporate favorite discord channels as a feature. The discord channels for example "general" chats setup within the discord server could be pinned for easy access. I think this would give newer discord users a better experience as they transistion from other platforms like reddit and facebook.
