Running text announcement
Kind of rectangular shaped text box showing announcement on top of the channel chat box.
This could be useful for showing current hot topic/important notes so that everyone on the respective channel have information about that.
This is suggested because some people just don't bother going into announcement channel. With this, we can still give them quick main information.
This might be similar to announcement in mmorpgs, where u see running text announcing maintenance etc.

Can't edit so I'll add here.
Another feature is that it can be configured whether it'll stay for certain duration or just one time announcement.
Perhaps also adding eye catching things so people will actually read it.0 -
I would also suggest for discord to add easily embedded announcements as this would be "eye catching"
