Can't copy images by right clicking
I right click on the image in discord, it brings up the menu that says "copy image" or "save image" etc, but when I click on "copy image" it just gives me a little pop up window that says "Error unable to copy image preview" this is a completely new problem and I have no idea why it started.

Possible that this is Norton antivirus acting up but it hasn't changed any other features of discord so I don't think it's that. Please comment if you have a solution.

BT-7274 it's not Norton because I use Avast and am also encountering this issue. It only began with a recent update. There any solution to this yet?

I am as well. This seems like a widespread issue... I wonder what the problem is. It's been like this since the last update. (As a response, I don't have Norton either so definitely not that.)
It's not working from the direct preview or from clicking on the image, it only works if you open it in browser.1 -

Same issue here, didn't have this issue on PTB (before install refresh) but for some reason the install broke for me, so waiting till that updates again, might install Canary instead but yeah its official build. Have the issue on a fresh install of Windows, only Windows Defender installed. For the others with this issue, instead of opening the browser, just use the snipping tool app (comes with Windows) or press WIN + Shift + S to pull up the windows 10 version of it, automatically copies to your clipboard

Hey everyone who commented on this thread, update: there is a new update for discord which I just downloaded, copying now works again in the application. Try downloading that and write back to lemme know if it works.

I just updated it, however, it still does not work for me. I even tried restarting my laptop, still does not work.

I found a small solution to this problem. It doesn't fix it completely, but it's away around it.
If you want to copy and paste an image on discord, click on the image, and then use a program called Gyazo. Capture the image, go to the page where the image appears, and then you'll be able to copy and paste it.
Again, this does not completely solve the problem, this is just away to get around it. Hope this helps in some way.-1 -

What I'd do is Right click > Open Link, and after the picture opens in your browser, Right Click > Save Image As and then save your image without losing any of the quality that it has.
Untill the problem is fixed, I'm doing this.3 -

What update??? The last update I got for Discord was the 1 that caused this issue. Haven't gotten any new updates since for it.
Edit: I'm still unable to copy images from Discord

It's still happening even now, But the browser discord works, not the desktop/app version. So instead of opening the link in the browser, you can use the browser discord.
