Android notifications can miss the important stuff

After recieving a few notifications from a channel with notifications for all messages on, the notification will stop recieving updates for every message (if the notification isn't cleared or interacted with). That's neither here nor there, I can see benefits for how it is, and bendfits for updating for every message. The problem is that the current state can result in important messages (such as mentions) being suppressed. I think that there should be a new notification each time you are mentioned, or at least that it can be guaranteed that the most recent mention remains in the notification. Alternatively, each channel could use an android notification stack, compressing a new notification for each mention into the single notification.

  I have long thought this was a ridiculous change when they first put it through a couple of years or so ago. Like.... why would you *ever* need to only see the top three notifications in a server??
