Animated Profile Pictures

What's the point of having an animated profile picture if you have to hover over them for it to animate? Same goes for boosted servers with animated server icons. The only issue that there could be is performance. There should be a setting which allows us to toggle which icons to animate, like one that allows us to have only our pfp animated, or one which allows us to have server icons animated, and one which allows us to have everything animated. We should be able to choose multiple as well, so that if we wanted we could have both server icons and our own pfp animated all the time.

  Just imagine, the mess if every gif profile pictures was animated without hovering it.

  I think making it toggleable in the settings would be great. Perhaps having the server you are on animate would be better. As for the profile picture, maybe make it so the gif finishes playing when you hover off, because many gifs get oddly chopped off.
