Tagging people in private chat
I believe it would be beneficial to have the ability to tag people in private chats, even if they are not already part of the conversation. For example, it would be convenient to mention someone with phrases like 'Add @person to the call' or 'Should we play with @person?.' It's important that these tags do not trigger a notification or ping for the person being mentioned. This feature would facilitate seamless communication and allow for easy referencing of individuals within private chats.

This is quite problematic. How do you see that? After typing "@" would complete the nickname of every person on the platform? There are, for example, 1,000,000 accounts starting with "abc". Adding this feature would put a heavy load on discord and the need for constant indexing. Currently, among other reasons, you can't search for your friends knowing only part of the nickname.
Tagging only friends would probably not make much sense either. This is not a criticism on my part, more a look at it from the real side.
