Unfortunately, due to myself being apart of the testing program, such feature has not yet been made or experienced, which means that there are low chances that this might happen. Also, it is the responsibility of the Community Owner if someone sends innapropriate messages or messages that breaks the regulations, the Community Owner must hire new moderators to maintain a safe environment in the Community or must enable AutoMod which blocks automatically messages and makes you enable to see it, the owner can also block usernames if they are innapropriate (BETA) and use the AutoMod ChatGPT AI (ALPHA).

Ok so I gave an example of this in my post. Someone posts something in a channel that makes you uncomfortable, but for other people in the server it's fine and it also falls within rules of said channel. Meaning that mods (including AutoMod) probably wont take action since it isn't something that is banned.

Still will surely not be added, this example you gave to me is currently considered irrelevant for me, I am  confident that there are high chances that Discord will not add this feature because one person doesn't like something in one server while the thing is allowed, if you don't like then just block them.

Definitely surprised Discord does not have this basic feature.

"Delete for myself" or "hide for myself" is truly elementary & needed.

The idea of having a "hide message" feature in Discord or similar chat platforms is intriguing and could potentially be beneficial for users. As you pointed out, there are instances where someone may post something that is within the rules of the server but still makes some users uncomfortable or triggers negative reactions. In such cases, the lack of an appropriate option to handle these situations can be frustrating.
