Blocked users should not be able to see your messages.
If I block a user, they should not be able to see anything I post or view my profile/servers. I should be able to completely cut them off.
Imagine trying to block someone you can't/don't want to interact with, but you still have mutual servers with mutual friends, so they can still see everything you say. Why should either party have to leave the community just to be comfortable/safe? A stalker you've blocked could join a server you're in and see the selfies you just posted from the only Arby's in town, telling them exactly where you are and what you're doing. Kicking/banning them won't undo that damage.
Alternatively, say a doctor wants to join a public Discord server for like-minded people. Upon doing so, several users reveal themselves to be the doctor's patients and express discomfort with their doctor being able to see personal posts intended for their friends. For some people, professional distance is necessary to allow them to be comfortable in a more vulnerable clinical setting. However, doctors are people with just as much need for community as anyone else. It would be unfair to discriminate against them in an inclusive public space solely based on their profession.
Allowing blocked users to see the blocker's messages in a server is an issue of both safety and privacy, and users have been begging Discord to fix it for years. Please either update the Blocking feature to work both ways or add a “Ghosting" feature that also hides your messages for a given user. Make it unusable against admins/moderators or whatever if you must, but it is important that users have the ability to prevent all interactions with/from specific individuals.
