Pins on new mobile layout extremely inaccessible
The new mobile layout is very ugly. I hate the colour. It was nice, bluish-grey, and now it's darker and more saturated. I hate the higher contrast. I also dislike the icons changing, I don't understand why websites insist on changing things that are supposed to be easy to recognise. Just to confuse people?
But, more importantly: pinned posts are supposed to be easy to find and access. That's, as far as I'm aware, the whole idea behind pinning them. Now, however, first: you can't even swipe from right to left to open the panel with channel related things like pins and threads, because it instead opens a reply to whichever post was under your finger. We could just intentionally select the post and hold it for a moment to open the menu if we wanted to reply to it! So, second, you have to tap the channel name. And there are NO pinned posts there! They're HIDDEN in settings, which I only found out through trying basically random things – because why the hell would I look for them there? And even then, they're just one of the many options on the list, so you have to read through all of them to eventually, hopefully, find that they're there. This is ridiculous. Pinned posts need to be easily accessible (at least as an icon right next to the threads icon!), not hidden behind SEVERAL menus.

And the list of pinned messages don't display images any more. You have to tap on the pinned message to jump to it to see it, and then to see the next image in the pinned message list you have tap the channel, tap pins, *scroll the pins list again*, and then tap on the next message to see the next image!

I have gone to using the web browser version on mobile because it is more useable than the app because of this

If you have a bunch of active threads with pins they all get mashed together in the main channel. Just an absolutely baffling decision by discord

Bump. Pins are literally unusable if they're anything but text :|

pyseph that's if you look at the thing that took me days to even find because it's a WORD on a bar that I never even look at, instead of a clear icon. The thing I described in the post is different and it's basically the old pins, but hidden behind several more taps.
