New UI is HORRIBLE
I was just forcefully updated and as soon as I realized it, my first reaction was to go into settings to try to revert. 3 times. I tried to get into my settings 3 times with an app crash on each attempt before I finally gave up and had to come here on my desktop in order to make the request to revert this atrocity.
One of the things I liked the most about the mobile app is how closely it resembled the desktop app. All sense of familiarity is now gone. Since I am no longer familiar with the app, I see no reason to continue paying for it.
Navigation is a mess, I want to see my most recent conversations on the side of the screen, not “active people” across the top of the screen.
I want to browse servers and channels in an easy to see and use interface, not have to spend several minutes looking for whatever specific channel I was recently using that got forgotten as soon as I went to a DM that was outside of the server.
As with many users who are upset with this change…. I request the option to at least choose the old UI. Allow us to keep the familiarity with the desktop app. This change is segmenting the user experience and ending the fluidity of swapping between mobile and desktop.
As of now, I am officially cancelling my Nitro subscription. Since money is the only way to make these devs listen, I'm going to talk with my money.

I also agree on the mobile app being completely unrecognizable from the desktop app to be a horrible design choice. They made the new UI so unnecessarily complicated and removed everything that made the original UI good and replaced it with a soulless, inaccessible amalgamation. If they do not revert these changes or at least give us the OPTION of changing it back then I will also be cancelling my nitro subscription. I've been paying nitro for 1 year and almost 8 months, and this is how they repay me? How they repay their users??

Not only it looks quite bad, the search functionality is not even working properly. I'm not sure why the Discord team decided to roll out an incomplete update like this…
