new mobile ui
with respect, nobody asked for this. the countless other posts have already explained just what makes this update so godawful, so i won’t waste your time reading when it could be spent crafting a feature allowing mobile users to opt out of this or just reverting back to the old style altogether. i’m feeling very disappointed in every member of the discord staff right now. not because of the update itself, per say, but moreso due to the blatant disregard of the community’s wishes and the fundamental misunderstanding of what made this platform so appealing to people. it makes me extremely sad to see an app i once loved descending into minimalistic sludge. i may cancel nitro soon. what’s the point, after all, if the ui is so cluttered and confusing that i can’t even use the app for half of my day?
please listen to your users. elsewise i predict that you will have far fewer by the time this update has been fully rolled out. thank you for your time.<3

If using a customer service voice helped we would never have received this update, it's time for the pitchforks and speaking with our wallets and demanding voices. I felt sorry for the social team until they told us to shutup and take it. Now I'm simply angry.
