New UI gave me an actual health issue

I didn’t mention this in my other post on the UI (which was under the “Difficulty Reading/Seeing/Accessibility” topic), but I actually developed a severe migraine from looking at the new mobile app design. 
Shortly after being forced into the update, my eyes began to strain to stay focused on the horrible new dark theme colours. Not long after that, cloudy shapes began to form in my vision, and I experienced intense head pain. I did not think this incident was in any way connected to the UI at first, until after the pain had abated and I returned to the app. Within only a few minutes of use, my forehead began to flare up again, and my vision blurred. I’ve since closed the app entirely and my condition has improved significantly. 

Whereas my other post discussing this update was more focused on the emotional impact of the changes, I thought I should make this post to warn people about this issue. With no hyperbole at all, Discord may genuinely be unusable for me and other people with similar sensory issues. It’s honestly shameful that this was allowed to release. Something needs to change in Discord’s beta testing process.

    Im so sorry that happened, I started too get headaches as well because of it

    You're not alone in this one. I've also noticed headaches from the new mobile skins. Friends seemed to have similar issues, too. It's made the app extremely hard to use :(

    I've seen so many people have this issue! Nausea, headache, and anyone with issues with contrast whether due to physical or mental illness all physically cannot use the app, and I am among them. The horrible coloration makes my head hurt only a smidge, it's more the fact I had to twice avoid panic attack before deciding to delete the app that's an issue. The new update is so abominable I had to go take a walk so as to not throw my phone or end up having that spicy panic attack. It's lost so much usability and it's far less accessible. And for what?? Money????? To appease investors or BigTech??????????? I cannot fathom it.
