VC Video Boxes/Background, Active Server Members Bar. Accessibility takes a hit.

VC Video Boxes

The video boxes are smaller and no longer stretch to size of whole screen. This not only minimizes screen efficiency, but makes it  hard to see others in VC. When mobile users are in VC with PC users, the PC users have to be centered in their camera or are cut off by the box and need to be maximized to be seen.

VC Background

Background does not match set discord theme colors which can be disorienting to certain users. Background design takes up useable camera box space. (I have an IPhone 8, people are really tiny.)

Active Server Member List Accessed Through Search Bar
Active member list no longer accessed by swiping left and appearing on the right as it’s own panel. CONTRADICTING the claim they're optimizing for less scrolling. This takes away from the Purpose of having roles Organized by Level. (Changes like these make maintaining “interactive” server member features annoying) Overall it’s more difficult to see active members on mobile.

Size of VC User’s PFP

The first reaction by server members and myself to the update were how small the profile pictures of users in VC are on the channels panel. The channels panel was widened and seems to have more space between each, yet the PFP size was shrunk down. PFP are a way to identify members who may change their username but typically keep the picture the same. With The Moving Of The Active Members List… it would make more sense to At Least go back to their original size. 

Final Thoughts

Apps will always create new layouts that people don’t like at first. What I hate seeing is when apps take PERFECT features and make them less user friendly. Discord is home for many of us and while change is a good thing, there are also times where we look back and realize how certain things were better off.
