pinned messages in threads

New update: why are a thread's pinned messages in thread settings? Pinned messages aren't in settings anywhere else, they've never been in settings. It's deeply inconvenient, especially because there is room for a pinned messages button!

I also don't want to see every single thread's pinned messages in the pinned messages of the main channel! Considering there's no way to sort them, this is deeply unhelpful, and results in burying the messages I actually need to find. This would be fine if there was a way to sort it so you only see pinned messages for the main channel, or for threads, but I'm in a server that has channels with dozens of threads, all of which have dozens of pins. This means I have to sort through hundreds of pinned messages, which defeats the point of pins.

  This is a legitimately great item to bring up and I too would like to see this addressed. Pins for threads and channels with threads are not fulfilling to their purpose of quickly providing important posts.
