Notifications on mobile won't show up

I have noticed this problem several time. And some of my friends had this bug a lot as well. For example, if someone dms me something and I am not on discord, it will not give me a notification and I'll just never know that they said something until I open the app.
Most of the time I do get notifs and stuff, but literally this problem has happened just enough times to annoy me.

  Yea had this issue too before I gave up on using the new shitty app version.

  The new app redesign has given me the exact opposite issue, where I will read a message or ping and it will still tell me I haven't read it unless I view it on PC or refresh the app and press “Mark As Read”.
