I don't want to see others or my "RIght now, I'm ..." status
I absolutely loathe this new “feature” of setting some random status.
Discord is good when it's simple… you know the KISS principle, keep it simple stupid
A giant freaking bubble of garbage pops up when mousing over others status. Nothing useful in it.
I want to disable it completely. It serves no useful purpose.
I don't want to see others, I don't want that button next to peoples name, I just want it gone so I never see it again and can forget it exists.

Agreed, I hate this feature so much. The fact that it was launched without an opt-out (much less made opt-in) makes for an incredibly shitty user experience.

If you're using a messaging app or social media platform, most of them offer privacy settings where you can hide your online status or activity. Typically, you can find these settings in your account or privacy settings section. If you need specific east instructions, let me know which platform you're using, and I can guide you through it.

I don't need a guide on setting other programs privacy, I need this Discord feature disabled/hidden/burned with fire,
it's taken a clean simple interface and cluttered it with mouse over popups and uselessness flair for no good reason.
It's a giant waste of effort - practically everyone is on the same default status making utterly useless.
At least when it just showed what game they were playing - it provided useful information.
Most of my feed is everyone “chillin” instead of “playing hello kitty adventure island”0
