My account were hacked on this scam "I accidentally reported you"
I know, I was unaware about the hack. (EDIT: Some text might be edited or kept editing it for seconds if I didn't add something)
Be careful about someone in your friend's list were saying “I accidentally reported your account.” If you see the Image and text, it looked real to you but it's a scam, a hacker probably edited the image and fooled people, don't get tricked. Either if it's your friend or something, their accounts were hacked, and the person who has to be aware of this is you and the others, If you never know about the hack, or you friend or others, quickly spread this to everyone. Here's an actual proof of an actual image of my account was hacked.
ANY OF THESE TEXT OR IMAGE, DO NOT ANSWER AND YOU WILL GET HACKED TOO!
This is my account on the image and I got hacked and the hacker were on my account
and were sending these same messages to people on my friends list.
And the scammer will tell you to do this, if you get told to change your email, DON'T FORCE YOURSELF! You might get hacked!
And, if you were asked to put your info, DON'T! I don't know what they are doing but I'm saying is to don't give the scammer your information!
Note: They were not bad for non nitro users and didn't pay the item, however, the sad truth is they could only spam over 30+ friends the same message.
Anyways, I overlooked at the email, when changing the email, it clearly said “Discord will NEVER ask you to change the email on your account for any reason.”
A month ago, when one of my friend send me something, I though I got reported but when I realized it was a scam, it's too late. It was suspicious when the hacker told me to change my email.
When I made a mistake about the ticket and forgot to add something, I though it will edit the ticket by submitting another, which turns out I made another mistake. And every tickets when created were kept marked solved, I know I shouldn't have send multiple tickets. ☹️
4 days ago, I send a ticket, but 2 days ago, I got a message from Clyde:
"Hello,
Thanks for reaching out — sorry to hear that you're having trouble signing in to your Discord account.
We have a few troubleshooting tips that you can try and see if they help:
Try using a QR Code to Login: If you’re still signed into a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet, try logging in to a desktop with a QR code, which will instantly log you in and bypass any additional requirements. From there, you can reset your password and, if needed, remove 2-Factor Authentication so you can re-enable it. If you’ve never tried logging in with a QR code before, you can see how it works here.
Reset Your Password: By changing your password, your account will be automatically signed out of any other devices, requiring those devices to sign in with your new password before accessing your account again. You can learn how to reset your password on our Support Center.
Unfortunately, if none of these suggestions work, you’ll have to make a new Discord account.
For the future, consider keeping the following resources on hand should you decide to make a new Discord account.

I send another ticket and when I reply to the ticket, sooner it were marked solved, I reply one more time to say to reopen the ticket (I reply it twice), now its opened for 2 days, I'm not sure if I will have a real response.
Oh, and I found just one screenshot of a hacker forced me to change my email.
SEROUSLY! I missed my main account, I did a lot, working my server and stuff, and got my whole time wasted by these scammers, I lost sleep, I didn't eat well, or a headache sometimes. If you want to know what I did before, send a comment to say “What kind of hard work.” (My main account is the ownership of the server, and my phone number is still on my main account)
Here's how: (Any of these text, if you see a username on the text, DO NOT ADD HIM!)
Back in June 8th, this morning at 7 AM, I was in a sleep dm call with my best friend, one of my other friend from October dm me at 6 AM, he accidentally reported me with a screenshot, and I was scared, he said “If you don't appeal then it's possible that your account will be completely banned and IP banned,” I said "what happened?" because I want to know what happened, 5 minutes later, he was online and said that he tried reporting someone but accidentally got me involved, 2 minutes later I said "how do you appeal?" then when I see the screenshot, I see someone's username (drew_support2020) in the image at the bottom, then when I added the user, it was an existing user, but I was thinking that if that was someone's user that were reported, so I cancel the friend request, but then, he said to add the user where I canceled the request, when I added it, I said "what now?" and he told me to wait till he accepted my friend request, in about 1 minute, someone said
Idk why do they use rich text, when I told him that "my friend accidentally reported me." they responded saying
they want to have a screenshot of us (me and my friend) having a conversation of I accidentally got reported, (Keep in mind that the screenshots were only saved to the clipboard, so I forgot but just only one screenshot of the conversation), then i quickly screenshot and send it to them.
He said he wants the request ID, but I notice that my friend send a request ID, when I copy, and paste it to someone, they said that was correct, but I was just waiting, they gave me this long text with rich text, it has my username, my user id, and the report something I never done wrong, it said Identity theft and Fraud use of Payment Method Details, but I thought the messages were real because the image and text, then, a hacker wants my information, they want my phone number and my country/state, but once I said mines, then someone showed me an image of them, looked like it's real, but once he send his, he told me to change my discord email to the email I never have, but, when I listen what he said, I have to change my email, it said it send me a code to change my email, it closed itself but the second time I put the code, and change the email, he said to remind him if I change my email, then once I change my email, it said it send a email, I said "i did," few seconds later I go to user settings and I see the email has changed, and he tried checking my account but he said if "Do you have a 2 step authentication enabled?" I said "yes," he told me to disable 2 step authentication, then when I tried doing that, I can't find it, he showed me the screenshot to disable it, I told him I can't find it, and I found it and 2 seconds later he showed me how to disable it, and I disabled it, he said he's gonna check my account, to give him few minutes, and I wait, but minutes later, he said he detects I have screenshots of him, he said if I don't do these steps, my discord account will be deleted, but then, he changed my user to "(SUSPENDED) Windows Colorful" and he was saying “do you understand” multiple times that I kept saying “yes,” he send me a gif and to buy him something, when I said "where to buy?" He said to buy the razer gold for 50$, and he also said that it's 100% money back, I felted like it's a trap because Discord never asked anyone to purchase items on Appeals, Discord was free (Not on nitro), I said what happens if you remove the "(SUSPENDED)" out of my name, he said "What do you mean?" I said that what happens if I remove the "(SUSPENDED)" out of my name, and will name as "Windows Colorful," he told me to buy it still, but he threat me saying that he's gonna delete my discord account, he said he's gonna do it, I said “noo, don't,” and he told me to buy that item or he's gonna take action to my account, and he told me to share my screen to watch me buy, then I said "no, i'm alright," he said ok, and he said to buy it, then just 15 seconds, I said "what happens if you change your email, i will do it later," he said that he's gonna delete my account because I didn't purchase the razer gold, then I quickly tried to get him out of my account, but I notice their was a phone logging in to my discord account, I quickly logged him out, and I tried thinking to figure out, but it was too late, when I kicked him out of my account, 5 seconds later, I just got logged out, then got disconnected from the DM call. I texted my best friend saying "hi. my acc is deleted but i need to figure it out," but then, she said "ur acc got hacked." I was like "?" and then, the screenshots I see was me sending random people DM's saying I accidentally reported them, which I didn't, and I was right, and I should know not to get tricked by them in the first place, when I see the screenshots, I ask her to warn everyone about my account is hacked before it's too late, so I decided to ping everyone in my server saying if my main account send someone something, don't answer until I get my account back. I went to my old server, and my friend display, user, and profile picture was changed by the hacker, I checked in the welcome-and-goodbyes channel in my old server, and when I scroll almost at the top, I saw the hacker changed it.
Oh! And also, one of my friends fell for it too.
The hacked account told me to add this user.
When they told me to add that user, I feel like wasting the scammers time
They also send the official discord link, and that's probably the reason why I fell for it for the first time.
The scammer didn't respond, I say “HAHA, can't scam me now!”
Update: I heard that Discord has added a new feature when users try changing their email (When someone asked them to, and maybe it's a scammer), Discord might give you 4 options of why are you/users changing your/their email, if they choose the right one, It might be very useful for Discord users, and to protect them from getting scammed (if they never heard of the hack before). Keep in mind that Discord or staff/support member will NEVER ask you to change your email, if you see these message saying you got reported on accident, with just text, or screenshots, Ignore them and do what you have to do, and if you were trying to appeal on the discord app, it is not possible as it wasn't is. The only way to contact them is to go to Discord Support website, and submit a ticket. Please note that submitting multiple tickets will never help, and when you submit multiple tickets on accident (if its today or 1 day ago) and if you are in luck, please immediately reply to every tickets (except one if you needed to keep) to say to cancel your tickets, for example “Please cancel the ticket,” or something, I'm not sure if that's gonna work on people accidentally send multiple tickets. If you have any questions or if something's wrong (For example: Hacked Account, Falsely Banned, etc.), I recommend sending just one ticket to them to avoid getting your tickets marked solved.
Some of my friends told me to create a new account, which I refuse to. But most of them was hoping to get my account back, I am hoping to get my account back too. 🙏

Idk what is going on but now I got hacked. I'm going to show the whole proof sooner, I have a text file and wrote 4,000 characters on it. (i think)
And I have some screenshots, if you now know what happened, thanks to me!2 -
Create a ticket and type this:
Old Email: email name here
Old Password: old password here
Account ID: ID here
As you can see, the scammer threatened me to delete my account for money (also provide a screenshot of scammer asks for your credit card)
-------------------------------
That's how my friends got their account back in this situation, but it doesn't work everytime. (it also didn't work on me)
Good Luck!

Hello! I also fell for this scam a week ago and recently got my account back. It's truly frustrating so I'd like to help provide how I sent my latest ticket which got a response. My emails are stated as followed:
RE: I was hacked by someone who was impersonating staff.
Hello, my account has been hacked a week ago by someone under the name @susanneassist. They have impersonated discord staff in trying to get money out of me, as well as hacking my account. Please get back to me ASAP, I have more information on this. When entering my email, it is met with 'email does not exist' while my number '(input number optional)' is still linked with no sms received.
I then received the automated email from Clyde where it says 'If you have any questions, or if you need assistance with anything else, please let us know by replying directly to this message!'
I replied as followed:
Hello, I would like to get in touch with a staff member due to my account being hacked. my account email has been changed due to the hacker wanting to provide 'verification' as they accused me of fraud. I would like to change the email of the account @(disc user) as it is now registered under validation.checker1000+129@outlook.com
Take note, I added screenshots of the hacker's account, my conversation with the hacker and how the login page said 'your email doesn't exist' both times. If you have more proof, feel free to use it as well.
I then received an email of them escalating my ticket (not from Clyde but it'll be under some other names presumably from staff. Example: 'Nelly', 'Obi Wan Kenobi')
Someone advised me to not reply to this email and just wait for a response. I got an email from discord explaining that they reverted my email after a few hours and that I should change my password.
I hope you'll get your account back soon! Wish you best of luck!

Thanks guys! 🙂
My ticket was opened for 3 days ago, I haven't gotten any response yet. there is this “Marked as solved” button. Do they respond soon?

Windows Colourful (iskevinr),
Hello! From my experience if a ticket is not marked as ‘solved’ or is left ‘open’ it is safe to wait for a response from discord.
0 -
Oh.
1 -
Though, I had a ticket that stayed open for 2 days before being marked as ‘solved’ without a response. What I did was I made the new ticket after they marked it as ‘solved’ so I am unsure if doing it yourself would speed up the process. Sorry!

They take mostly 48 hours (2 days) when people created a ticket. (I think)
But in 19 days ago, when I tried following up the ticket and see “This request is closed for comments. You can create a follow up” on my second ticket that was in there for a month, they take 24 hours, and 18 days ago, I got a response from Clyde saying
"Hello,Apologies for the delay in our response. This is an automated message, updating you on the status of your request.
Beyond our original support regarding this issue, we're unable to provide additional information or support for this request. If you need assistance on other subjects or situations, you can explore our Help Center here.
Sincerely,
Discord."
I was confused because I never gotten any response from a real person, just a bot. At 18 days ago (Again), I follow up the same ticket when I followed up the the ticket from 19 days ago. 17 days ago, I finally got a response, which turns out it failed, I have not send any opened multiple tickets again and they responded
"Hello,
Thank you for providing the information about your account.
We’ve escalated your ticket for the team to look into further. Unfortunately, we are unable to give you an estimate time of our response or answer questions about your account, but our team is actively working on these requests.
Please note that submitting multiple reports regarding the same issue may hamper our team's investigation into your report, and slows down how quickly we can help other users.
Thank you for your patience and a team member will get back to you when they can.
Sincerely,
Discord Trust & Safety."
And it gave me the same bot response from 18 days ago.1 -
I think you can try and make another ticket about it if all the others are closed. They tend to do this as I got 2 responses saying I should make a new account and that they were unable to help me. Did you include the comment about the email not existing on the login page? That seemed to work for me.
0 -
Is it this for example? (Sorry for not responding in a bit, I was editing the message)
0 -
Yep, I added a ss of that and the rest I stated above. If your tickets are all closed rn maybe you can format your email like mine before?
0 -
O-oh.. I forgot to do that. The only screenshot I send them was this.
0 -
I see. Hope there'll be a good response from discord regardless.
0 -
Agree. I know they take 48 hours, I submit just one opened ticket since 10 hours ago.
1 -
Hoping they'll revert your email back the next reply. Good luck!
0 -
Yea, Hopefully. Sooner if I get a response, I will tell you if they did or not.
0 -
I know I have not gotten any response yet, but the Last activity changed to 40 minutes, does that mean my ticket is checked?
0 -
Not sure. Before I got my account back, it also stated a change in last activity but I had to wait hours before receiving an actual email.
0 -
Oh.
0 -
Yea, they emailed me, Unfortunately I got a response from a bot with the same message 2 weeks ago

I heard if I get these message, I will have to create a new ticket.

I created a new ticket 13 minutes ago, and I opened it 7 minutes ago
1 -
WinColorFul (2nd account) No wonder why they keep saying the same thing over and over every time we'd create a ticket saying that our account is hacked due to a scam since the staff impersonator tells us to change our email and then steals and uses our account to scam other people who we friended with.

Windows Colourful (iskevinr),
I see. :( Well, the process is trial and error cause I admit I opened 22 tickets in a span of 9 days. Good luck! I hope you'll get better luck with the new ticket.
0 -
Makara Furusawa,
For real tho, isn't it their job is to revert my email instead of getting these messages from before?1 -
ryox,
I think I opened more than 20+ tickets to try getting my account back.0 -
I created 23 tickets of trying to get my acc back.
0 -
WindowsColourful (iskevinr),
I feel like making multiple tickets at the time will make the bots mark them as spam and automatically close the tickets. I did that before and they didn't really respond to me, maybe use the email I sent to them as reference? Unless you've already tried it, you'd just have to try again and hope for the best. Discord support is pretty shitty cause all the requests are have to go through bots first. :(
0 -
I send multiple tickets on accident since discord support never has the “Edit Ticket."
0 -
It's best not to send multiple tickets as they will transfer it to the back of the queue (it's very stupid). I think it's best even if you miss some information to just wait till you receive a response. If you don't and they close your ticket, you can rewrite a new one with everything you'd like to add.
0 -
Does discord support is good with a lot of characters to send a ticket? (like a lot of words with 5,000 characters)
