Idk what is going on but now I got hacked. I'm going to show the whole proof sooner, I have a text file and wrote 4,000 characters on it. (i think)
And I have some screenshots, if you now know what happened, thanks to me!

Create a ticket and type this:

    Old Email: email name here

    Old Password: old password here

    Account ID: ID here

As you can see, the scammer threatened me to delete my account for money (also provide a screenshot of scammer asks for your credit card)

    -------------------------------

That's how my friends got their account back in this situation, but it doesn't work everytime. (it also didn't work on me)

    Good Luck!

Hello! I also fell for this scam a week ago and recently got my account back. It's truly frustrating so I'd like to help provide how I sent my latest ticket which got a response. My emails are stated as followed:

RE: I was hacked by someone who was impersonating staff.

Hello, my account has been hacked a week ago by someone under the name @susanneassist. They have impersonated discord staff in trying to get money out of me, as well as hacking my account. Please get back to me ASAP, I have more information on this. When entering my email, it is met with 'email does not exist' while my number '(input number optional)' is still linked with no sms received.

I then received the automated email from Clyde where it says 'If you have any questions, or if you need assistance with anything else, please let us know by replying directly to this message!'

    I replied as followed:

Hello, I would like to get in touch with a staff member due to my account being hacked. my account email has been changed due to the hacker wanting to provide 'verification' as they accused me of fraud. I would like to change the email of the account @(disc user) as it is now registered under validation.checker1000+129@outlook.com

Take note, I added screenshots of the hacker's account, my conversation with the hacker and how the login page said 'your email doesn't exist' both times. If you have more proof, feel free to use it as well.

I then received an email of them escalating my ticket (not from Clyde but it'll be under some other names presumably from staff. Example: 'Nelly', 'Obi Wan Kenobi')

Someone advised me to not reply to this email and just wait for a response. I got an email from discord explaining that they reverted my email after a few hours and that I should change my password.

I hope you'll get your account back soon! Wish you best of luck!

    Thanks guys! 🙂

My ticket was opened for 3 days ago, I haven't gotten any response yet. there is this “Marked as solved” button. Do they respond soon?

    Windows Colourful (iskevinr),

Hello! From my experience if a ticket is not marked as ‘solved’ or is left ‘open’ it is safe to wait for a response from discord.

    Oh.

Though, I had a ticket that stayed open for 2 days before being marked as ‘solved’ without a response. What I did was I made the new ticket after they marked it as ‘solved’ so I am unsure if doing it yourself would speed up the process. Sorry!

They take mostly 48 hours (2 days) when people created a ticket. (I think)

But in 19 days ago, when I tried following up the ticket and see “This request is closed for comments. You can create a follow up” on my second ticket that was in there for a month, they take 24 hours, and 18 days ago, I got a response from Clyde saying

    "Hello,

Apologies for the delay in our response. This is an automated message, updating you on the status of your request.

Beyond our original support regarding this issue, we're unable to provide additional information or support for this request. If you need assistance on other subjects or situations, you can explore our Help Center here.

    Sincerely,
    Discord."

I was confused because I never gotten any response from a real person, just a bot. At 18 days ago (Again), I follow up the same ticket when I followed up the the ticket from 19 days ago. 17 days ago, I finally got a response, which turns out it failed, I have not send any opened multiple tickets again and they responded

    "Hello,

Thank you for providing the information about your account.

We’ve escalated your ticket for the team to look into further. Unfortunately, we are unable to give you an estimate time of our response or answer questions about your account, but our team is actively working on these requests.

Please note that submitting multiple reports regarding the same issue may hamper our team's investigation into your report, and slows down how quickly we can help other users.

Thank you for your patience and a team member will get back to you when they can.

    Sincerely,
    Discord Trust & Safety."

And it gave me the same bot response from 18 days ago.

I think you can try and make another ticket about it if all the others are closed. They tend to do this as I got 2 responses saying I should make a new account and that they were unable to help me. Did you include the comment about the email not existing on the login page? That seemed to work for me.

Is it this for example? (Sorry for not responding in a bit, I was editing the message)

  • ryox

Yep, I added a ss of that and the rest I stated above. If your tickets are all closed rn maybe you can format your email like mine before?

O-oh.. I forgot to do that. The only screenshot I send them was this.

I see. Hope there'll be a good response from discord regardless.

Agree. I know they take 48 hours, I submit just one opened ticket since 10 hours ago.

I know I have not gotten any response yet, but the Last activity changed to 40 minutes, does that mean my ticket is checked?

  • ryox

Not sure. Before I got my account back, it also stated a change in last activity but I had to wait hours before receiving an actual email.

Yea, they emailed me, Unfortunately I got a response from a bot with the same message 2 weeks ago

    "Hello,

Thanks for reaching out — sorry to hear that you're having trouble signing in to your Discord account.

We have a few troubleshooting tips that you can try and see if they help:

Try using a QR Code to Login: If you’re still signed into a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet, try logging in to a desktop with a QR code, which will instantly log you in and bypass any additional requirements. From there, you can reset your password and, if needed, remove 2-Factor Authentication so you can re-enable it. If you’ve never tried logging in with a QR code before, you can see how it works here.

Reset Your Password: By changing your password, your account will be automatically signed out of any other devices, requiring those devices to sign in with your new password before accessing your account again. You can learn how to reset your password on our Support Center.

Unfortunately, if none of these suggestions work, you’ll have to make a new Discord account.

For the future, consider keeping the following resources on hand should you decide to make a new Discord account.

I heard if I get these message, I will have to create a new ticket.

I created a new ticket 13 minutes ago, and I opened it 7 minutes ago

WinColorFul (2nd account) No wonder why they keep saying the same thing over and over every time we'd create a ticket saying that our account is hacked due to a scam since the staff impersonator tells us to change our email and then steals and uses our account to scam other people who we friended with.

    Windows Colourful (iskevinr),

I see. :( Well, the process is trial and error cause I admit I opened 22 tickets in a span of 9 days. Good luck! I hope you'll get better luck with the new ticket.

    Makara Furusawa,

For real tho, isn't it their job is to revert my email instead of getting these messages from before?

  • WinColorFul (2nd account)

    ryox,

I think I opened more than 20+ tickets to try getting my account back.

    WindowsColourful (iskevinr),

I feel like making multiple tickets at the time will make the bots mark them as spam and automatically close the tickets. I did that before and they didn't really respond to me, maybe use the email I sent to them as reference? Unless you've already tried it, you'd just have to try again and hope for the best. Discord support is pretty shitty cause all the requests are have to go through bots first. :(

  • WinColorFul (2nd account)

I send multiple tickets on accident since discord support never has the “Edit Ticket."

  • ryox

It's best not to send multiple tickets as they will transfer it to the back of the queue (it's very stupid). I think it's best even if you miss some information to just wait till you receive a response. If you don't and they close your ticket, you can rewrite a new one with everything you'd like to add.

Does discord support is good with a lot of characters to send a ticket? (like a lot of words with 5,000 characters)
