Completely unrelated, but Discord is too afraid to take accountability for ableist design choices which is why they haven't approved a post in these forums for over 6 months. The new UI design is unreadable for many visually impaired people.

Wasn't expecting to wake up today and be unable to do any of the work I need to, such as sending files and communicating with clients via Discord, because this new forced UI update is impossible for me to read and see as a visually impaired user without the insanely broad band-aid “accessibility” options that are both ineffective and insultingly large.

Beyond just being an ugly update, the server icons are too small to see, the sticker/emoji/gif/gift buttons are now both spaced furthered apart and smaller and thus harder to click (this is a massive issue for people with mobility issues of which I am not), the new font is harder to read and cause more eyestrain, and while not as big of an issue for the visually impaired, the lack of symmetry between UI elements is insanely jarring for those with OCD and autism of which I am as well.

Your UX/UI design team should be ashamed for not utilizing equitable design principals and forcing changes like this with no alternative. As a former UX designer myself, I understand that a lot of changes like this come from the higher-ups who only care about pushing out updated projects to justify salaries and to please investors (which is why I left the industry in the first place), but these designers should still be ashamed of this and need to quit their jobs and go take some course about accessibility in the field again. This is shameful and ableist. How dare you.
