Why? This could be abused easily.

You could use a bot to create the channels. Then store relevant information in a database such as who the channel belongs to. The bot could also repost stuff but it would appear as a message from the bot. Also, you would have to be careful with rate limits. Maybe an import command that queues a channel for import? Those are just my thoughts.
Your other option would be to just switch servers. Make the testing one your live one. Not ideal but it would simplify the process.

Chaton, this sounds like a great idea, in fact, I need this just in case on of my own gets raided, haha. Just to be clear, this should only be possible for YOUR OWN servers, you should not be able to clone other people's servers.

This kind of seems unnecessary... at the end of the day you should only give the permissions to trustworthy people -3 -
Sounds like a nice suggestion 3 -

I think that if you can't or don't know how to build a server from scratch, it's not for you then.
-3 -
There's no point in having a template. What you just described would take maybe a couple of minutes to make when you're starting a server from scratch. Just do it yourself.

@Zacatero yes u are correct but even trustworthy persons can get hacked.

True I think we need this

I think this would just promote plagiarism since it would enable others to clone other peoples servers and claim them as their own.

What truly makes a server is it’s members not its roles and channel permissions, so you may be able to copy some channels and roles but this is not the server itself at all. Obviously no content would be copied, and no members would be in the new server. It would effectively be a new server.

It should be needed to fill in an aplication, and depending on the server size the time between backups should change 0 -
Since they already keep an audit log, wouldn't the infrastructure to implement a rollback feature already be mostly there since they could just step backwards through it?

I know this aint totally what you asked for, but i know there is a bot called Xenon that can make complete duplicates of servers and lots of more things, if you want to you can check it out. 0 -

+++ Save Our Servers! Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do not want us to suffer in vain! Without crutches bots, with all the information of the server, as a basic feature! Have mercy, have mercy, have mercy!

I support this suggestion. We truly need a backup.

This idea sounds great I would like it to happen. As I have very many clans which have failed and I hate making new servers everytime. Plus raids do not take effect so much!

This really needs to be a thing. I've just spend that last few hours working on a channel, and for someone to just come along and destroy it, would be devastating0 -
love this suggestions it really useful and seem like a great thing to implement

Great suggestion, but I think 30 days us too much, also can you explain keep the server...
Do you mean you can still send messages there. Or do you mean you can restore it.
