Be invisible on one server but online on another.

We can choose on which server we are online but invisible on other. Imagine I am on a server but I want to leave them to devote myself to another server without being told "you were online ... Why not be with us ... Liar" Because yes sometimes I was lying . For having peace on another servers. Thank you !

    I want to be on certain servers to catch up on updates but not actually be a part of the chat group because some members of the servers I join are so genuinely uncomfortable or intolerably annoying it makes me want to disappear from those people. You either have 2 options: 1) to leave or not join the server at all and miss key updates to stuff; or 2) to be in the server and have your privacy violated because Discord decides to show your online status (online, idle, etc.) without your permission. The whole point of Discord is to feel comfortable being in a semi-social environment, and you can't even feel comfortable if you aren't able to control your own presence in various servers. The overall online status is just not enough to warrant a safe environment, and I hope the dev team considers adding this functionality. But to be honest, I am convinced they will never read these suggestions at this point.

    It would be really awesome if you could have settings per server. Right now the workaround of having a different account for each server is very cumbersome.

    Hiding the activity status and certain servers is THE feature that I'm waiting for desperately ...

    I have gaming, friends and professionnel servers on my account, and I would like to hide my activity status on my profesionnal servers while keeping it on my gaming / friends servers ...

    Well after 5 years of waiting, and 0 transparency by Discord, the only conclusion must be that they don't want to invest time and money into making this a feature, until the day there is a threatening competitor around that does this, that is.

    I can't edit the first post, and my last post never stays the last post for long, so let me just repeat this:

    Discord won't implement this for free, if at all. Scrooges that they are, they probably paywall it under Nitro.

    The current solution is to just get multiple accounts.
