Condenser Microphone Problem

I bought the t.bone Sc400 Mic connected via xlr to xlr to a phantom power supply and then xlr to 3.5mm (yes yes shame over me) to my pc. I get a normal and very good recording in Audacity but in Discord, Teamspeak and ingame I sound very quiet noisy and distorted. I tried with and without my Soundblaster Z card. I think its a setting but I cant figure out what it is.

Ok people found the problem nobody had :D In my case the culprit was the xlr to 3.5mm cable. It seems i needed a unbalanced cable (just search it up like that) and i had a balanced one. Don't know why Audacity could handle it but im content with the situation now so I don't really care ^^
