no desktop notifications

desktop notifications don't work, even when turned on in discord settings. When in windows settings, discord doesn't show up for notifications, so it cannot be turned on/off from there.

I am having problems with the desktop notifications not working when receiving or getting messages from servers or groups, despite that the settings for desktop notifications are switched on
