an ability to label your message in chatwith a number such as #1 #2 #3
seems silly but it might actually be helpful sort of like a pinned message but more a reference point for larger discords or small or really whatever type of discord you have..
im thinking like youtubes ability to timestamp ie - 11:22 and it cuts to that time in the video well im thinking a message like -" oh i completely agree with what your saying #2" .. and it jump to message in case you dont know/remember which message the person meant and dont want to worry about copying the message or referencing it..just a thought might be too much but could be handy..

Your idea is (Somewhat) already there with the developer function "Copy {MESSAGE} Link'.
If you have Discord set in developer mode you can copy the LINK of a message.
(AFTER LOCATING IT WITH SEARCH FUNCTION OR A PIN)
Though I'm not sure I completely followed the idea.
Because you have to have some way to link to message... so you kinda of have to copy SOMETHING.

yeh thats very similar to skypes version of message linking but ild still want to mark a message with a hashtag possibly with #2 #ref2 etc. for future reference in personal chat maybe server chat not sure how that would work but if it was done in a discrete way it could be used as message linking to get back to a particular conversation rather than just the snippet of text where u may miss the whole context..
