New Feature Suggestion (Selective Audio Output)
Good day,
The suggestion: Being able to deafen individuals from your own audio so that they cannot hear you, but everyone else in the chat room can hear you.
Now, I do not know how difficult this is to code or if it's even possible to wire audio channels like this; I am no audio technician. The idea came to me because I run Dungeons & Dragons for my friends using Discord and having to give specific descriptors to some individuals, but not everyone playing is common. For example, the group is walking down a road at night, but one of the players cannot see in the dark. Typically I deafen the individual who cannot "see" or I just move the individuals that can "see" and myself temporarily to a separate voice channel and go on to describe what is ahead in the road. This feature would increase the flow and appeal of the game through Discord because it would allow the players to interact with each other while I give out descriptions. Overall, the feature would more accurately represent a subconscious in the player's minds. What are everyone's thoughts?
Regards,
Kyle

This may be rather old, but yes, it would be preferable to have such a feature. I myself have gotten into situations where I would rather it be possible.
