The Ability to DM Anyone on Discord

I do understand the need for privacy when it comes you not getting DMs from crazy people, but I'd like to have a toggle where you can get DMs from anyone.

I am an officer in an EverQuest guild, and when people fill out an application, we ask for their Discord name.

The only issue is, I can't contact them to let them know their application is approved or if I have questions, because we might not be in a mutual server at the time.

A toggle could help, just like how you can toggle to only get DMs from those you share Mutual Servers with.
