Block Custom Characters

It's so hard to tag people whose names are just custom characters that they got from a font website or something, so I suggest Discord to block those characters and allow only alphabetical characters from other languages. Would also be good to block emotes in case people only use emotes in the name.

  I’m for this, but for the time being some bots on discord can remove these characters from a user’s nick name. But I think setting those equal to the standard characters for the mention menu might be better.
