Virtual table in voice chat
For those playing what used to be just tabletop games. A means of adding back some of the immersion.
Adding assignable or selectable positioning around a virtual table of sorts in voice chats.
Such as, you hear the person sitting across from you, to your left, right and so on.
I figure, games have a decent means of conveying direction of sound. Maybe it’d be a fun and engaging prospect for those playing D&D and other tabletop style games, or any games where people traditionally sat in a circle of some sort

Aside from the immersion aspect. Due to the way human hearing works, having each talker "positioned" differently from each other in terms of surround sound makes it _much_ easier to hear people when they talk over each other. For example, if you have two people talking and one is only coming through left headphone speaker and the other is only coming through the right, it is pretty easy to mentally focus on one or the other even if they talk over each other. However, if you have everyone coming from the same "point" in space, the sound waves overlap and it becomes very difficult to isolate and focus on one or the other (or both).
