Android: Keep Alive while plugged in/charging

I often find myself in a situation where I am monitoring Discord from my phone while at my desk while working on other projects on my PC. Currently the settings on my phone have the screen go blank after 3 mins of no activity. This is a normal activity. Unfortunately it gets annoying when trying to keep an eye on discord chats from the phone.

Some apps have an option (Such as "Waze") where you can choose to have the currently active app "keep alive" while the phone is plugged in and charging. This feature prevents the app from closing while the phone is receiving power. It would make Discord much more useful, and I think many other gamers out there who use their phone to monitor discord chat would find it useful too.
