Ability to add phantoms to channels

In Ventrilo members with certain permissions (usually moderators) could add an invisible "phantoms" to a channel in order to listen in without visibly joining a channel. This was frequently used to secretly listen for reported abuse without letting the offender know that a moderator was investigating their behavior, that way they would not suddenly stop their behavior knowing that a moderator had joined the channel.

 

I had used this feature in Ventrilo multiple times to remove toxic people from my guild back the early WoW days.

  This would be an awesome feature. 
  In my old WoW guild we use the Phantom feature for a different purpose.
  Everyone could Phantom "Raid Lead Chat" and listen to the Raid Leader(s), while all the mages were in "Mage Chat" to coordinate their Strats, Healers were in "Healer Chat" coordinating Heals.
