Better dual monitor support

I have dual monitors and the typing animation doesn't play, it just says their name. I like to play games on one monitor and view discord on the other monitor and it says I haven't seen the messages even though I'm staring at them. I know it's because I'm not focused on the window but it's kind of annoying when I have to stop playing and click into the Discord window to make it so I've read the messages.
