Low Priority Speaker
Can we get a feature to give a user a "Low Priority Speaker" setting that will lower their volume when other people are talking? We have someone who regularly likes to talk over other people and it isn't really realistic to give everyone else the priority speaker permission and have them bind and use it.

I really don't see a reason to add this as muting the user is always an option, but still would be a great addition. -3 -

Muting doesn't really solve the issue though. We don't want to completely ignore the person. Same with lowering their volume - that's just going to make it hard to hear all the time. I just want to attenuate that user when other people are talking

Then make everyone else a high priority speaker lol.

Again, that requires everyone else in the discord (50+ people) to bind the key for it and use it. That is not a realistic solution.

As a mod of a decent sized server (200ish), I'm starting to realize that this is a very much needed feature. There are people out there that can't take social queues and just talk over everyone else. This is a passive aggressive method to letting others still have a voice while not outright muting the person.
