Normalise User Volumes Automatically

Wouldn't it be cool to have an option to automatically dynamicly adjust individual user volumes while in call? Some people speak quietly. Some people scream into their mics. Constantly adjusting up to 12 people's volume at once while trying to play a game with them all is quite difficult.

I'd suggest the ability to set a master volume, and Discord would automatically adjust users to meet that volume. It'd be pretty nifty.

  Hi there,

  This is already done to some extent on the transmission side. Users have the option to dynamically adjust the gain (volume) of their input whilst in calls, however there is no way at this point to dynamically adjust the volume. Since the option to automatically adjust your input volume is optional and there's quite a few people (like me) who don't use it, something like this would certainly be useful for large group calls and meetings over discord.
