Role Permissions/Priority for Moderators
Recently a discussion occurred in a server I am in where the topic was about about Role Permissions within a mod team. (Also I am sorry if this is a post that already exists, just haven't heard or seen one about it.)
So for this example lets use Moderator #1 and Moderator #2.
Lets say Moderator #1 leaves the server they were apart of, leaving Moderator #2 and the rest of the team. Moderator #1 decides to come back to the server, and Moderator #2 is unable to hand out the "Mods" because Moderator #2's highest role is "Mods" and current permissions don't allow anyone with that role being their highest role, let it get assigned out, forcing either A, Moderator #2 to create a temp mod role and give it to Moderator #1 until the owner returns and can assign the role to them manually, or B, Moderator #1 waits until the owner returns and assigns the role back manually.
Now the idea that was brought up during this discussion was, another TRUSTED moderator (Lets say Moderator #2), would be able to assign that Mod role to another person, without having another role that's higher than that role. What we discussed was some sort of permission list like the channel role, is add a certain member to that list and allow them permission to hand out that role, even if its the highest role for them.
Just wanted to see how it would be possible or just want to hear everyone's thought on this and see you agree with this thought, or would want something changed of it. Would love to hear.

maybe just create support role

Perhaps you promote someone to ADMINISTRATOR, or Head Moderator, that allows them to give your moderator role out.
