Enable linking to #Voice channels from #text channels

Right now, if I have these channels:

Text channels

#abc

#def

Voice channels

»ghi

»jkl

 

If I'm in #abc, and I type #def, it creates a link to the #def text channel.

But if I type #ghi, it treats it as plain text.

To add to the confusion, if (in developer mode) I get the #ghi channel ID, and then link to it like so - <#123456789> - it briefly translates to #ghi, but then when I send the text message, it converts back to plain text.

Additionally, and this actually kind of bugs me because these are both default channels, if I have #general (text chan) and #General (voice chan), and from a text channel I reference #General, it "autocorrects" to #general and keeps the link. But, of course, links you to the wrong chan.

  Came here looking to make this same suggestion. Now with Stage Channels and especially the Events channel, it would be great to be able to #link to any kind of channel, to make easier to navigate to those channels from a text chat.
