Potential iPhone Disconnection Fix

A friend and I were having issues being randomly DC'ed on our iPhones when we have the phone against our face and for the life of us could not figure out why.  On a lark I connected to a voice channel and locked my phone and have not had an issue since.  Not sure if it was wonkiness with the proximity sensor or the touchscreen, but all I care about is that it seems to work for now.  I haven't seen anything about it online so I hope this helps out anyone having a similar issue.
