Discord for Coronabirthdayparty

Hey! I'm new here, hope someone can help me. I'd like to host my birthday party via Discord. Therefore I'd like friends to be able to join without downloading or registration (because some of them are not really tech-savvy). Is this possible? + any recommendations to make the digital party a success? Thanks!
