Option to view multiple channels on one screen - multitasking

Recently, there was the update which allowed users to check unread messages on the inbox screen but i was thinking of something akin to tweetdeck where you can display multiple channels all on one screen at one time. This way its easier to keep an eye on all chats (useful for a mod) as well as knowing what chats are happening to easily jump in.
Something i'd personally find useful as im usually multitasking doing work on the side and checking discord and its hard to jump into conversations when i gotta keep tabbing in and out of channels/servers.
So imagine each column here would be a channel loading in messages in real time - i.e first one is general chat, then a gaming chat, movie chat, etc etc.
