Suggestion for a cleaner reply that's equally useful (with mockup image)

I know y'all probably worked real hard on this fancy new reply system but it winds up looking super cluttered when a bunch of people are all replying to each other. There is no reason to make everyone see the quoted text of every reply.

You already have a system in place to refer back to previous posts. You can use that system to make these replies much cleaner and less obnoxious.

Now replies don't have to be any larger than a normal message, the only thing that's changed is a bit of extra text after your own username.
